THE BASICS

Starting simple — what we do and how we work

Think of us as your website's dedicated support team. We handle the essential but time-consuming tasks — keeping WordPress, plugins, and themes updated, protecting your site from security threats, running daily backups, and ensuring fast load times. We also take care of content changes as needed. The result: you focus on your business, we keep your website healthy and running smoothly.

You get full access to our Basic plan for 30 days — updates, content changes, security monitoring, and more — completely free. To get started, you'll need to provide your card details upfront, but you won't be charged anything during the trial period. Your first payment only processes at the start of the following month. If the service isn't right for you, simply cancel before that renewal date and you won't be billed.

Yes, a card is required to start the trial — this is simply to prevent abuse of our free trial offer. No charge is made during the 30 days, and your card will only be billed at the start of the next billing cycle if you choose to continue. Cancel any time before that renewal date and you won't be charged a thing.

Yes, absolutely. Cancel whenever you like. Your site will remain under our care until the end of your current billing period, and that's it — no cancellation fees, no complicated processes. Cancel from your dashboard or drop us a message.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

The technical side, explained clearly

Each plan includes a monthly allocation of developer time. Routine maintenance tasks — updates, backups, and security scans — happen automatically and don't consume these hours. Technical hours are reserved for hands-on work like fixing bugs, implementing new features, adjusting layouts, or handling custom requests. We track usage transparently so you always know where your hours are going.

We test all updates in a staging environment before applying them to your live site. In the rare event something breaks, we resolve it immediately at no additional cost, drawing from your technical hours. We have years of experience preventing and quickly recovering from update-related issues.

WP Rocket is included at no extra cost for Ultimate plan subscribers. We handle the full setup and ongoing configuration, so you get maximum performance benefit without the additional expense.

We run continuous scans for malware and vulnerabilities, apply security patches immediately when they're released, and monitor for suspicious activity around the clock. We apply security in layers — think of it as a firewall, active monitoring, and rapid response all working together.

SUPPORT & COMMUNICATION

How and when you can reach us

We respond within 2–4 hours during business hours. Premium clients are prioritised, and Ultimate clients receive round-the-clock emergency support for critical issues.

All clients can reach us via email or through the support dashboard. Premium and Ultimate clients can also call us directly. Ultimate clients have access to an emergency line for after-hours critical issues.

Yes. Every month you receive a detailed report covering all work completed — updates applied, security scans run, and performance changes made. Premium clients receive bi-weekly check-ins; Ultimate clients receive weekly updates.

Ultimate clients are assigned a dedicated account manager who gets to know your site and business. They're your single point of contact — no need to re-explain your setup every time you reach out.

CONTENT & UPDATES

Keeping your site content current

Unlimited means exactly that — update text, swap images, add pages, adjust hours, or change contact details. We don't count edits or charge per request. Just tell us what you need and we'll take care of it.

Fair Use Note: Unlimited content edits cover standard content management tasks. Major redesigns, new functionality, or structural changes fall under development services rather than routine content updates. For everyday content management, there are no restrictions.

Email us the details, submit a ticket through your client dashboard, or if you are on the Ultimate plan, contact your account manager directly. We handle the rest using your included technical hours.

Basic SEO is included in all plans, ensuring your site is structured so search engines can crawl and index it properly. Premium and Ultimate clients receive more comprehensive SEO work, including keyword optimisation, meta tag management, and ongoing performance monitoring.

We check for updates daily and typically apply them within 24–48 hours. Security patches are applied immediately — we do not delay on those. Updates are always tested in a staging environment first.

PERFORMANCE & OPTIMIZATION

Making your site faster and more reliable

We use a combination of image compression, caching, database cleanup, code minification, and CDN configuration. Premium clients receive more advanced optimisation techniques. Ultimate clients additionally get the WP Rocket plugin, which delivers a significant performance boost on its own.

Basic optimisation covers caching and image compression — the essentials every site should have. Advanced optimisation adds database tuning, CSS/JS code cleanup, and CDN integration. The Ultimate plan layers WP Rocket on top, which provides enterprise-level performance improvements.

Yes, continuously. We track uptime, load times, and overall health. All clients receive regular performance reports; Premium and Ultimate clients receive more detailed data and more frequent updates.

Slow sites are something we handle regularly. We diagnose what's causing the slowdown and implement targeted fixes. Most clients see 50–80% improvement in load times after our initial optimisation work.

BACKUP & RECOVERY

Protecting your data

Daily. Every backup includes your full site — files and database. Backups are stored off-site, and we can restore your site quickly if anything goes wrong. We also create an additional backup before any significant changes are made.

Daily backups are retained for 30 days. Weekly backups are kept for 3 months. Monthly backups are stored for a full year. This means even if a problem goes unnoticed for a while, we can still recover an older, clean version of your site.

We handle all restorations as part of your service. If you prefer direct access to your backups to manage a restoration yourself, we can provide that as well and walk you through the process.

GETTING STARTED

How to get your site into our care

Sign up for the free trial on our website — no credit card needed. Once you give us access to your site, we run an initial health check and begin maintenance immediately. Most clients see noticeable improvements within the first 24 hours.

We need WordPress admin access to handle updates and maintenance tasks, and FTP access for more advanced optimisation and security work. All access credentials are stored securely and used solely for maintenance purposes.

We can begin working on your site within 24 hours of receiving access. On day one, we run security scans, analyse performance, and implement our standard maintenance procedures.

HOURLY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

When you need more than maintenance

We build custom WordPress plugins, integrate third-party services and APIs, develop e-commerce functionality, create custom themes, set up membership areas, build booking systems, and handle most other WordPress development requirements.

Our hourly rate is transparent and competitive. Before starting any project, we provide an upfront estimate. We track hours carefully and provide detailed reports of all work completed — no surprises.

Yes. Your included monthly technical hours can be applied toward development tasks. If you need more hours than your plan includes, additional development time can be purchased at our standard rate.

WordPress is our primary focus, but our developers work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. We also handle Shopify customisations and custom web application work. Reach out and we'll let you know whether we're the right fit for your project.

It depends on scope. Minor customisations might take a few hours; more complex features can take several weeks. We provide a realistic timeline at the start of every project and keep you updated throughout. Rush requests can usually be accommodated.

Yes. All custom development includes a 30-day warranty covering any bugs or issues in our delivered work. Clients on a maintenance plan also benefit from ongoing monitoring of their custom features as part of regular maintenance.

DEDICATED DEVELOPER SERVICES

Your own developer, without the overhead

A dedicated developer is a specific team member assigned to work exclusively on your projects. They learn your business, your codebase, and your preferences — and they stay. No explaining your setup to someone new every time.

We're flexible. Most clients start with 20–40 hours per month, but packages range from 10 hours up to full-time (160+ hours). We'll structure something that fits your actual needs and budget.

Yes, directly. Communication can happen via email, Slack, or whatever tools you prefer. Your developer works within your existing processes, not the other way around.

We maintain detailed project notes for every client, so a team member familiar with your project can cover seamlessly. Your work does not stop because someone is unavailable.

Usually significantly so. You get senior-level expertise without the costs of salary, benefits, equipment, training, or management overhead. Many clients find they get better results with us at $3,000–8,000/month compared to hiring a full-time developer at $80,000+ annually.

Dedicated developers are well-suited for ongoing projects, complex web applications, e-commerce sites requiring regular development, membership platforms, or any situation where you have a consistent stream of development work. If you find yourself needing development every month, a dedicated developer is usually more economical than purchasing ad hoc hours.

Yes. Our developers are experienced at integrating into existing teams. They can join your project management tools, attend team standups, follow your development workflows, and collaborate alongside your current developers, designers, or agencies.

Yes. We can assemble teams comprising multiple developers, designers, and project managers. This suits larger projects or companies that need a mix of specialisations. Each team member gets up to speed on your business, so you maintain a consistent working relationship even at scale.

PROJECT-BASED SERVICES

Specific projects, from quick fixes to full builds

Yes. Whether you need a full redesign, a new site built from scratch, or a migration from another platform to WordPress, we handle everything from planning and design through to development and launch — and can maintain it afterwards.

E-commerce is an area we work in regularly. We build custom WooCommerce stores, Shopify sites, and integrate payment systems. Whether it is a straightforward product catalogue or a complex marketplace with custom logic, we have the experience to deliver.

Yes. We migrate sites to new hosts, upgrade legacy platforms to modern WordPress, and can take over sites that have been left in a poor state by previous developers. We handle the technical migration and verify everything is working correctly in the new environment before going live.

That's a common starting point. A discovery call is often the best first step — we'll review your goals and current setup, and give you a clear recommendation on what would actually solve your problem. Sometimes it's a small fix; sometimes it's a larger project. We'll tell you honestly which it is.
